For years I have been reaching out from my colonial paradigm to try to get other academics to talk with me. I’ve started thinking about how to build new frameworks for the collection. After hearing talks by Mark Cabaj and Carlos Gershenshon I got to thinking about how to represent ideas about tensions and balance in complex systems in the frameworks collection. I got Mark, Carlos and Sam on a zoom call and we ideated about images based on their work.

Thinking about blogging

I’ve been promising myself I would start doing some “blogging” related to the Collection. I’ve never been big on this idea as I don’t want to have to write on any schedule, but I have managed to write a “reflective journal” as a relational approach to reconciliation. It came from a dislike of doing performative land acknowledgements.
